Lizette is excited to have had the opportunity to stage manage at the Fringe Festival. A student at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Lizette graduates in December with hopes to continue her involvement in technical theater and stage management professionally. Cara Maltz grew up in Eugene, Oregon.  She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine in 2005 with a BA in Theatre Arts. Since then Cara has been pursuing a career in theatre here in New York City. Her local theatre credits include Measure for Measure (American Theatre of Actor‚s Outdoor Theatre), Later Life (Amateur Comedy Club), The (Irish) Wake (ATA Beckmann Theatre), Shakespeare in Concert (ATA Shubert Theatre), Ah, Wilderness! (The Heights Players), and Stage Play (78th St. Theatre Lab).
Cara is delighted to be a part of this production and has greatly enjoyed working with this dedicated cast and crew.  Cara would like to thank her friends and family for their continued love and support.

Dongshin Chang, founder-artistic director of X-plormentals, is a theatre practitioner, scholar, writer and director. A native of Taiwan, Chang was trained in acting and directing in both Taipei and New York. He has especially focused on the art of kunqu, a form of traditional Chinese theatre. In addition to his creative endeavors, Chang holds advanced degrees in theatre and performance studies and teaches theatre courses at universities in New York and New Jersey.

Tom Knutson (choreographer) was a professional dancer (ballet, jazz, tap) for 20 years and a student of physical theater (e.g., Grotowoski and Commedia del’ Arte). He has choreographed and staged many Shakespeare productions (e.g. Hamlet’s play-within-the play and the witches’ scenes in Macbeth) as well as more contemporary movement forms (e.g. marching bands, strip teases and rock & roll backup singers). This is his first venture into Eastern movement forms.
A graduate of Beijing Opera School, Beijing, China, Wen specializes in the young male role type of kunqu. He performed extensively with the Northern Kunqu Troupe in Beijing before joining the Lincoln Center production of The Peony Pavilion in 1999. Wen took the male lead, Liu Mengmei, and toured with the production around the globe. His performances have captivated the audiences and won critical acclaim. Currently Wen resides in New York, teaches kunqu at the Kunqu Society and performs with distinguished kunqu artists in the U.S., Taiwan and China.
After being introduced for the first time to Chinese Theater through a course last spring, Jennifer is very excited for the opportunity to be involved with "Confessions." This fall she will complete her last year at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she plans on finishing her degree in both Drama and English and American Literature. Through Tisch, she is currently training at the Atlantic Theater Company.

Mark Breedlove is very pleased to re-join the theater with this production, after a hiatus of many years.  He acted in "Shadowplay: The Secret Team" and "The Breasts of Tiresias," both productions of the Atrium Theater Company of Eugene Lang College in New York City, in 1992 and 1993.

Ken Bowers has worked as a physics researcher, an urban planner, and a rock guitar player. For five years, from 1989 to 1994, he was a member
of NC-based indie-rock group Vanilla Trainwreck, who released three
records on Mammoth Records and toured up and down the East Coast and across the nation. Since then he has played off and on in a variety of
obscure bands in and around New York City, including Spindale and the
Happy Ending. He is currently back in NC, where he helped compose and record the music featured in this play in his basement. He is married
to coconspirator Lynnea Villanova.
