July 17 through 20 - Costume fittings, blocking, sounds, scene work. Some figures so far:
-
•The play has a prologue and two acts, the first of which has four scenes and the second has three.
-
•Running time is about 90 minutes.
-
•There are five sounds at this point: crickets, cicadas, splashes, waves and thunder.
-
•There are three weeks until opening night.
Costumes will be simple and play heavily on the Greek imagery, withe loose fabric in neutral tones draped over the characters. Because the actors will play minor non-speaking roles in addition to their main roles, easily changeable costumes will be needed.
